Minister of Ontario visits Meta IT’s São Paulo Headquarters
Meta IT had the honor of welcoming Victor Fedeli, Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, Chair of Cabinet, former North Bay Mayor, and five-term Nipissing MPP, to our São Paulo headquarters.
For more than 35 years, Meta IT has been a trusted partner in digital transformation, helping organizations evolve with technology while staying true to the belief that innovation only matters when it empowers people. As one of the first Brazilian technology companies to establish a hub in Canada, Meta IT chose Kitchener, Ontario, as the home of its North American headquarters; a decision driven by the province’s strong innovation ecosystem, world-class talent, and global business environment.
As part of the Toronto–Waterloo corridor, Meta IT is embedded in one of the world’s most dynamic technology hubs, known for its 15,000 tech companies, top research centers, and global-class talent. The region unites startups, academia, and industry leaders — including institutions such as the Vector Institute and the University of Waterloo — fostering an environment where innovation, AI development, and advanced automation thrive.
During the visit, Minister Fedeli met with Telmo Costa, Founder and CEO; Claudio Carrara, Vice President; and Marcos Machado, Head of North America. The conversation covered Meta IT’s growing portfolio of international operations, ongoing investments in AI-driven transformation, and the expanding synergy between Brazil and Canada in technology and innovation.
We thank Minister Fedeli for the productive exchange and for recognizing the important role Meta IT continues to play in strengthening innovation ties between Ontario and Brazil.
